Introduction

Lumen AI ("we", "our", or "the Platform") is committed to protecting the privacy of its users. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our LLM visibility monitoring service.

Data we collect

We collect the following types of data:

• Google OAuth profile data (name, email address, profile photo)
• Company and brand data you provide (company name, brand, domain, aliases)
• LLM execution results (ChatGPT and Gemini responses to your prompts)
• Subscription and billing data (plan, payment status, MercadoPago transaction ID)
• Usage data (configured prompts, monitored competitors, generated metrics)

How we use your data

We use your data to:

• Provide and operate the LLM visibility monitoring service
• Run your prompts in the LLMs and generate visibility metrics
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Improve our service and develop new features
• Communicate with you about your account and service updates

Third-party services

We share data with the following service providers:

• Google (OAuth authentication)
• OpenAI (running prompts in ChatGPT)
• Google Gemini (running prompts in Gemini)
• MercadoPago (payment processing)
• Supabase (data storage and authentication)
• Vercel (application hosting and deployment)

Reports shared by agencies

Agencies that use Lumen can share an AI visibility report with their prospects through a link or an email sent on their behalf. If you receive one: the link is personal and is not indexed by search engines; to tell whether the report was opened we store a random identifier in a cookie that belongs to that page alone (path /r/), the approximate country our hosting provider reports, and whether it was opened on a phone or a computer. We do not store your IP address or your full browser details, and we do not use this data for advertising. It is shown only to the agency that sent you the report. Every email includes a link to stop receiving reports from that agency.

Monitoring public figures

When a user sets up the monitoring of a person, we store their name, the context the user provides (for example role, organization, alias or website) and the language models' answers to queries about them, which may contain personal data. After 12 months we delete the full text of those answers and keep only numeric indicators (whether the person was mentioned, in what position and with what tone). The service is intended exclusively for public figures; monitoring private individuals is not allowed. We use this information to operate the service for the user who added it.

Data deletion requests from monitored people

If you are a person monitored on Lumen AI, or you represent one, you can ask us at any time to delete the personal information we hold about you, and we will delete it. Write to contact@getlumen.lat with your full name and, if possible, the organization or user monitoring you. We may ask for information to verify your identity. We will handle the request within 30 days.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your authentication session and language preferences. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Data retention

We retain your data while your account is active. If you cancel your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where the law requires its retention. Aggregated and anonymized data may be retained for analytical purposes.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your personal data
• Export your data in a readable format
• Withdraw your consent at any time

Security

We implement technical and organizational security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication with OAuth 2.0, and encrypted database storage.

Minors

Our service is not directed at persons under 18 years of age. We do not intentionally collect data from minors.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through a notice on the Platform.
